LockedIn (“we”, “the app”) is a nutrition and fitness tracking app.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account: email address and password (via Supabase Auth).
Profile: age, height, weight, gender, activity level, and nutrition goals, the values you enter during onboarding or in Settings.
Activity you log: food entries, exercise entries, weight measurements, water intake.
Contributions: if you submit an unknown product, we store the barcode, product name, and the photo of the nutrition label you take. Approved products join the shared food database credited to your account internally; your identity is never shown to other users.
Device data: app version, iOS version, anonymous crash and usage analytics (via PostHog) to help us fix bugs.
How we use it
To personalize your nutrition targets, daily remaining calories, and progress charts.
To let you log, edit, and delete your own food and exercise entries.
To keep your account secure and let you sign in across devices.
To improve the app by understanding which features are used and where crashes occur.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your
food, weight, or health data with advertisers.
Where your data lives
Supabase (Postgres database, US region) hosts your account and logs.
PostHog: anonymous product analytics, opt-out coming in a future release.
USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts: public food catalogs we query to fill in nutrition for foods you search or scan. We do not send your identity when we call these.
Your rights
Access & export: email us and we’ll send you a copy of your data within 30 days.
Delete: tap Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, logs, and goals from our database.
Correct: edit any value inline (weight, height, goals, individual food entries).
Children
LockedIn is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
